I'd love to see the All Blacks...

Win this world cup and silence the jokers who live off a team having one 'only 1' world cup even though there have been only 6 to date

My favourite place to watch the All Blacks is:

In the pub with mates

I reckon that...

Its ours for the taking!

Really can't believe SBW has more caps than Hosea. Hopefully he will show his class. Good move by Hansen allowing players game time as they may be needed later this year. No-one in squad will want to lose the record against Irish, who will sense their chance. My money on Irish pipping it, due to too many new faces in AB team. But better for long term gain to lose nowand gain experience. Damn I've picked a really bad Saturday to go on holiday! How am I going to avoid scores for a week?

Said it before and said it again. Too much rugby this year, especially after world cup. 4Ns should have started this year, but should not have had 3 match series, along with longest Super15 tournament ever. There will be big amount of injuries over next few years which will only dilute the spectacle of test match rugby. Great players will have shorter careers and more will chase the dollar, as they have less time in the game. Rugby is too physical to play this many high level games.

I agree, the BOks will be hard to beat in 4Ns. Big bruising effective forward pack, and decent back line. Imagine what Habana could achieve if he was an AB? ABs will have to work on more forward grunt to beat them, but they also have too much in the brains department, so will pick them to win. Oz will struggle in my opinion. Forwards still weak, and not much guile in backs, so they could really struggle. Feel sorry for Genia playing behind poor pack (well, not that sorry really). Argies to pick up win or 2 against them. Looking forward to the 4Ns. Go ABs!!!

Good team. Surprised no Nonu on bench as could cover wing as well as centre. Difficult to ever replace Thorn and Kaino. Quick ball from Smith and no risky stuff will see him right first up. Retallick has to bust a lung to make up for loss of Thorn, and Savea good under high ball, as Kearney will test him all day long. Really excited about this series. If ABs can stop O'Brien at source, and prevent Irish from holding up in tackle then will win. If they don't and have to play ugly then could be close.
My other worry is that ABs always start international year slowly, usually with game against Fiji/Samoa to work out combinations, etc. This is NOT the game to be doing that. All said and done, ABs by 5-10

The injury toll for the ABs, Ozzies, and Boks is going to be huge come the end of 4Nations. Whoever thought this schedule was a good idea has clearly never played at a high level, and is a masichist (?spelling). Players can not do this year after year.

I hope we don't lose Todd overseas, if he gets overlooked too often. Cane is not ready yet, simple

@Naru, good points well made. Perhaps it is just me who's feeling the pressure!Guess Hansen wouldn't have got the job on familiarity alone, AB culture goes dead against that. Think loss of Thorn and Kaino will be felt however. We definitely need a monster 6, who will stop Irish/everyone else in their tracks, and scrummaging power of Thorn. Do we have those candidates yet or will it take 1-2 years?

Yes they are close. If only geographically! This is wishful thinking from George, and frankly high-octane bull*%$t. Course the ABs look over their shoulders, everyone else is consistently behind them. 'One swallow does not a summer make' George

It is a healthy approach, I agree. Now I don't want to get shouted down as being a non-believer, but is anyone else worried about motivation for this Irish series? For the first time I wonder whether the Irish may want this series more than we think. I know how important legacy is to the ABs, the 'loss-less' record against them etc., but after all the emotion and drive needed to win Bill, can they muster the same attitude, perhaps more, as now there's an even bigger reason for everyone else to beat the ABs. In a way this may be exactly the motivation the ABs need. Looking forward to the series.

Which means he's good at kicking, can tackle and can't ignite a back line. Think what Nonu, Freuan or SBW will do to him with quick front foot ball. Scary. I hope he has more attacking flair than Jonny, or he may not go as far in the game.
