As a hardcore bok supporter i was disgusted by my fellow countrymen not showing the haka the respect it deserves .If anything it fired the abs up more. The haka to me represents a long history of fierce battles on the rugby pitch and its a pity that that not everyone sees it like that.We were handed a rugby lesson in soweto but believe me the boks will be back to challenge the mighty abs.

Firstly well done to the abs they showed the boks how to convert chances into points it was difficult watching that game from a bok fans point of view.iGod I read your earlier posts regarding SA rugby and how it was in danger of collapsing. While this would never happen if it did it would have a knock on effect in NZ and Oz.Sanzar would cease to exist meaning the ARU and NZRU would lose massive amounts of revenue. The ARU would be in all sorts of strife with no local competition and a small following compared to the other football codes. The NZRU would be better off than the ARU with the ITM cup and Ranfurly shields being played. The NZRU and ARU would have to have some kind of Super Rugby comp in place but I doubt it have a lot to offer the players in financial terms.Players would be then forced to go to Europe to earn a couple bucks. The NZRU would have to change their selection policy.SA viewers made up 67% of last years Super Rugby NZ 22% and Aus 11%.18 of the 20 most watched games took place in SA.iGOD would you have the balls to call Bismark du Plessis a gay to his face,I doubt it as he would rearrange your facial features and have his brother Dr Jannie try repair them.

Justwin we played barefoot until u13s plenty memories of playing on a frosty morning kicking a heavy leather ball.Back to the game look out for etzebeth around the fringes on defence and attack and big andries bekker seems to be finding form, hougaard needs to up his game hopefully this is the game.Going to be a cracker hope the ref lets it flow and the boks hold their discipline

This game on saturday is the reason why i played my first game at 5 and hung up my boots 30 seasons later it doesnt get bigger than this .although the abs are worthy champs for 2012 the boks will pull off a win to make up for an average season go the green and gold

Naru #10 rubbing salt in a wound Im still having nightmares at that game.Again Erasmus telling us what we already know.If Meyer has the farking sense to play Goosen at 10 he can ignite the bok backline.Im not saying that they are in the same league as the abs at the moment but give them a chance and they will compete hard. The boys in green and gold are hurting and they will take it out on the wallabies and then they will focus on the soccer city battle.

Donthavesky Im at a loss for words what meyer sees in steyn. He won a few big games in the past but he has cost us games as well. The game has moved on and he has nothing to offer so he has to go.There is plenty depth at flyhalf in sa with goosen out in front..If steyn starts against the wallabies i might put my beer through the screen.

Flogging a dead horse here. The question remains if the bok backline can be half as good as the abs then then the boks are a real chance to beat the the abs.The bok forwards will always create chances its up to the backs to finish them.M Steyn is no threat sitting deep in the pocket and has to go.Goosen is the man he takes the ball to the gain line and will challenge the best defences as his natural instinct is to attack. The wallabies have to be beaten first to gain momentum going into the abs test.Even though the abs will win the comp there is something special about boks v abs in front of 90 000 fans

The thing that really stood out to me was how poor the bok backline vision and decision making was.Numerous chances were blown and every backline player was guilty.A good few tries were missed after the forwards matched and at times dominated the ABs.Expect a a bok backlash starting against the wallabies at Loftus.Hopefully M Steyn will be dropped he brings nothing to the game, the boks are hurting and will come out firing.

To be honest the boks did well to draw.A young inexperienced side playing an outdated style of rugby against a side whos intention was to spoil the ball at any chance was always going to be a tough ask.My concern is the direction in which meyer is taking the boks seems to be backwards. He did well with the bulls but that is history the game has evolved and you have to adapt. The sharks and cheetahs showed us that saffa teams are capable of playing great attacking rugby and unlocking defences.Like saffa said the boks are intent on making contact first and then off loading, the abs did the opposite off loading before contact keeping the ball in motion.I hope meyer proves me wrong and has a plan b.I reckon Jaque Fourie was pretty smart staying in Japan as he knows he wont be seeing the ball with meyer at the helm.
