Thorn tips new mates against All Blacks
Well as BT is a Christian, he'll likely not tell a porky (pie), unlike the headline of this aricle which is misleading. Thorn says of the Irish team; '... you'd think there's a good chance of (their) doing something' (v the ABs), but he doesn't say what. So it's just as likely that, esp under Kidney, that they won't do anything too inspirational, i.e. like passing the pill as accurately as Leinster do, to unduly frighten NZ.
They gave the ABs a decent run last time out & thay'll probably do so again, but they fell over in the WC & their vaunted b/row lost out v the Taffs in the 6N, so there's no reason to suppose that this tour will spring a major surprise... I hope.

Well if Lancaster had got his backrow & midfield right he'd have had more chance I think. However leaving Sefon Armatige (T14 Player O' The Yr!)out beggers belief for me. I just get the feeling SL may be grasping, but the SA tour will likely make or break him & his team.
I know that u'll never give Cip a go, but that's maybe England's weakness too; i.e. looking at a player's weaknesses. Wasps didn't do so I guess. Besides, are the alt's tearing up trees? Even allowing for Claret head Barnes' saying that Leicester's Ford the embryo is 'The Greatest' after 1 game v Sarries! -

Howdy. Bit late with my response but I've been around more sporadically in recent wks.
I did belatedly respond to yr mess on 'England name touring squad for South Africa' 11/05/2012, but regds & howdy again.
